How it all started
EWART WOODS is a small studio founded in 2014 by woodworking enthusiast Maksims Jekimovs. It began with USB drives and their wooden boxes, then grew into sofa arm trays and toilet paper holders. To bring more ideas to life, Maksims teamed up with metal designer Pēteris Ločmelis, a jeweller by trade — together they expanded into a full range of carefully crafted wood-and-metal home decor.
